Facebook Privacy Controls 'Missed the Mark'
As Facebook privacy concerns continue to grow, Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg has responded with public comments in a column published yesterday in The Washington Post, acknowledging that missteps had been made and reaffirming that the social networking site will simplify its privacy controls in the coming weeks.
Zuckerberg wrote in his open letter – in response to concerns that Facebook’s privacy controls are too complex – that, “Our intention was to give you lots of granular controls; but that may not have been what many of you wanted. We just missed the mark.”
